Congratulations to Abby Dunn on your Iowa Select Farms Future Ag Leaders Scholarship! Abby is a 2014 graduate of the Riceville Community School District and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at Allen College in Waterloo.
Abby is the daughter of Tom and Kari Dunn of Elma and a part-time employee for Iowa Select Farms. “When I am not in school, I help a lot with Iowa Select,” she says. “I mow around 12 farms in the summer, push snow, move feed and sand driveways. I also helped when Iowa Select Farms and the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation donated money to the Riceville and Elma areas.”
Abby cites the “very close relationship between the employees of Iowa Select Farms” for making it a great place to work. “The employees help each other out and all seem to like their jobs.”
