Everyone deserves a good meal

We believe everyone deserves a good meal, which is why today kicks off our two-week effort to fill the freezers of the rural food pantries located in the communities of our farms, employees and contractors. Food shelves, pantries and community cupboards are historically low in June as kids are home and out of school and holiday donations have dwindled, which is why the Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation and Iowa Select Farms has fueled up and loaded 22 tons of pork onto our semi—destined to support critical hunger relief programs and efforts throughout our state. Follow us on this journey as we introduce you to committed volunteers and talk about how each pantry helps families get back on their feet. Two weeks, 90 pantries, 22 tons of boneless pork loins. ‪#‎everyonedeservesagoodmeal‬ ‪#‎billionpounds
