Pantry here, pantry there, a pantry everywhere! That’s the goal, anyway, to place Little Free Pantries in our Homegrown Iowa communities. The Deb and Jeff Hansen Little Free Pantry provides 24/7 access to necessities and is designed to supplement hunger relief efforts by offering emergency resources to families who cannot buy food or have limited access to pantries or community shelters. Yesterday we installed Little Free Pantries in the City of Eldora, Iowa, and the City of Steamboat Rock, Iowa. We’re especially grateful to have the talent of Representative Ray Bubba Sorensen paint the pantries, which include the unique characteristics of each community in which we farm.
