Our next stop of the day was at Faith in Action Friendship Club, a food pantry in Iowa Falls that serves 40 people per month.
This stop is not only a food pantry, but also a place that puts on activities for members of their communities to enjoy in fellowship throughout the year.
“Most of our peers who attend our center have food insecurity, and meat and protein are sometimes not in their food budget,” said volunteer Mary Nelson.
We hope our donation of 1,080 servings of pork loins helps bring families together even more and enjoy a healthy protein in their meal.
