Rachel, a supply specialist at the Rockwell City Warehouse, says she loves how agriculture provides food, fuel and fiber. “It touches every part of our every day,” said Rachel. And she’s right.
“In Iowa, we are lucky to have the resources to make a living growing those crops and livestock that will sustain our families and the rest of the world.”
Growing up in a farm family, Rachel said she learned many lessons. “I learned the value of hard work, the opportunity to provide resources for others and the faith to keep doing it.”
Rachel said being able to provide healthy food is an amazing feeling. “Knowing that what we do in this company, from our producers to management to employees like me, makes a difference.” #WomenInAg
