There’s a reason the Production Well-Being Team was the first-ever recipient of SelectPride Partner Award last year. It’s because then meticulously plan, prepare, review and rehearse the time they get to spend with our 1,850 caretakers to conduct annual training and Pork Quality Assurance certification.
They’re committed to helping make all of us better, and they care a lot about the people and animals of Iowa Select Farms.
Twenty-eight meetings, 2,000 sunglasses and endless props to help educate and give refreshers on practices incredibly important to us, like food safety, daily observations, biosecurity, animal handling, pork quality and proper euthanasia. And thanks to our employees and contractors for always being “all in” no matter what training topic we have.
Five meetings down, 23 to go. Keep up the amazing work!
