Congratulations to Sofia Sanchez on your Iowa Select Farms Future Ag Leader Scholarship!
Sofia is a graduate of the Iowa Falls-Alden Community School District and is pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Ellsworth Community College.
“I decided to pursue a career in Business because I have always liked being involved in financial decisions and I love communicating with people my ideas to find ways of saving money and helping them economically,” explained Sofia. “After graduating I would love to start working right away for a real-state and/or insurance company.”
Sofia is the daughter of Cesar Sanchez Garza and Monica Macias Canales from Iowa Falls, Iowa. Her father has been the Farm Manager at Sow 5 for almost five years.
Sofia shares, “Iowa Select Farms is a great company to work because they not only help the community but also their employees. One of the biggest things that the company does (and that I appreciate) is that they offer 2 days for their employees to go enjoy with their families to either Adventureland or the State Fair. Family is an important deal for them and that is highly appreciated and thanked by all the families, I am sure. Thank you for caring for us!”
