“Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” — Mr. Rogers
Thanks to all of our employees, contractors and Foundation friends who have submitted nominations for Helping the Helpers thus far. Our hearts have been warmed reading your nominations, learning about all the good your friends and family are doing in their communities during COVID-19.
Over the years we’ve tried to do our part to help communities when and where they need it the most. What we’ve come to find is that we are able to rebuild ourselves— oftentimes stronger than before— because there are people who care.
We encourage you to take five minutes to nominate a helper in your life for a Helping the Helpers care package. http://helpers.iowaselect.com/
From healthcare workers and law enforcement to emergency service professionals, childcare providers, school employees and individuals dusting off their sewing machines to make masks for our community members, there are people helping all around us.
